Comments for BoDeans, Black and White

This was the first BoDeans album that I purchased after going to a concert of theirs at Summerfest in Milwaukee. I now have all of their albums and have been to seven of their concerts. It's still my favorite.

Although nothing the BoDeans do is a disappointment, this is as close as it comes. I think they know it too.... all you have to do is hear the live versions of these songs to see how they were meant to be performed. True Devotion is the only song that carries the load on this CD.

The BoDeans 4th album features their hit single "Good Things".The album is the most "pop" the band has attempted to be. Although an excellent album, it comes off as an obviousattempt to go Top 40.
