Joey´s back whith a vengeance! The man who singelhandedly started the final countdown has done it again. This album is really a gem! A superb masterpiece where Joey displays his songwriting skills at a peak! (The only bad thing I can say about the guy is that he shouldn´t have cut his hair short) LONG LIVE ROCK`N ROLL

Joey did do a terrific job on this fantastic album!!! Each of the songs is a masterpiece. My personal favorite ones are: "For My Country", "We Come Alive", "Elsewhere", "Lord of the Manor",etc. It's such a pity that Europe may be be united again. But I'm so glad that Joey still devotes himself to music. I'm looking forward to his second solo album due to released in 1997!

Joey Tempest has got one of the worlds greatest voices, there's no doubt about that. However, his first soloalbum is a big surprise. Once you listen to it, you never take it out of your cd-player. Great singing and somgwriting, with few or none dead spots on the album.

I'll never forget the first time I heard this record. It was a sunny day and everytime I put this record I feel happy. I was knocked out already half-way through "We come alive".. A God-sent voice that fits perfect with the new material. Every song is strong enough to stand on its own.. But my personal favourites are "Alive","Don't go..","How..", "Elsewhere" and "Pleasure.." I thought Joey's songs with Europe were good too but this is at least one class better. This is a record you must have in your collection. Buy it !!

Joey Tempest was the lead singer for the band Europe. Although this album does not sound like Europe, it is a great piece of music. Songs like "Elsewhere" and "For My Country" are perfect examples that Joey Tempestis still an extrordinanry song writer, and should be ableto make it on his own if Europe does not reform at a laterdate.
