I've seen Spilling Poetry live a few times and they really are very good, not only musically, but emotionally as well. There are many "up and coming bands" that are pretty good, but don't get into their music. It is a pleasure to watch Spilling Poetry because you can trully see how deep they are into their music and how much it means to them.

spilling poetry is one of the most talented up and coming bands in the u.s. their debut album shows their deep appreciation for music and lyrics; two necessary elements to a successful songwriting band. you cant help but appreciate the great vocals and musical compostion displayed in every song. join the club, these guys deserve the success.. the best songs do go unsung but sooner or later these guys will be the ones to do the singing.

"Invisible" was an exceptional debut album which has brought Spilling Poetry to the forefront of up and coming bands. Spilling poetry plays an alternative style of music with an incredible commercial edge. The " invisible" album sold all 1000 ordered copies in a very short time, but luckily the band is currently working on its sophomore effort, "Microphonic", which is sure to lead them from insible to a highly recognized band. I am sure that you will hear more about the band when they release their second album.
This band from Lubbock,Texas is already causing major waveson the Texas music scene. In the same vein as Gin Blossoms,Toad The Wet Sprocket, and other pop/alternative bands, Spilling Poetry manages to mix musical styles into aninstantly recognizable mix. A new CD is in the works as aremany major shows in Dallas, Austin, and Oklahoma City.
