Comments for Porcupine Tree, The Sky Moves Sideways

Yeah...Steve Wilson's a talented guy. This is basically "his" band (along with No-Man, a far less interesting dance outfit). This album has a lot of Floyd-like stylings, and wonderful spacey atmospherics at varying dynamic levels. Now they are a true band though (a 4-piece) and have been touring around. They will be in Baltimore on June 29, 1996 for the Progscape all-day event. If you're in the neighborhood, check them out! Look for the new album 'Signify' in August, 1996.

Superb Album! This is one of my all time favourites. Sorry, but even Pink Floyd seems weak near it!

If this music does not send you on a mind trip, nothing will !!!!!!!!!!
Wrong, Pink Floyd arent "weak" they are far superior seen as Porcupine Tree's influences are Pink Floyd themselves. They are probably the closest to them out there mind.
