Comments for Countbasic, Movin' In The Right Direction

CountBasic is a tasty funk/jazz/r&b unit sporting a fabulous guitarist (Peter Legat), a great singer (Kelli Sae), and two drummers who plant themselves firmly on top of the rhythm. This is not background or strictly dance music. If you want to find out how good it is, set your fanny in front of a high quality stereo and let the sound wash over you. This is a great set, and CountBasic's first CD, "Life, Think It Over," may be even better.

This album had some of the best guitar play I''ve ever heard in my life. Joy and Pain was and excellent cover-up. I beleive this was and improvement from their first release. I think that M.L in the Sunshine is the best instrumental they have recorded to date. The groups songs are very optimistic. I like to get positive reinforcement when I listen to music and get that listening to Countbasic.
