Comments for Marshall, Amanda, Amanda Marshall

This album has some great songs, but also a lot of fillers. The singles "Let It Rain", "Birmingham" and "Beautiful Goodbye" are, without a doubt, amazing songs. But other songs like "Dark Horse" and "Sitting On Top Of The World" sound like a cross between Shania Twain and Tiffani. If you want a fairly light background music, this album may work. Hopefully upcoming efforts will give us more than a handful of powerful tracks.

This is one of those albums you put into the CD player when you just want to kick back and relax. It`s a really good first album for Amanda. Some -may- find it too conformist to the rest of pop music, though...
