Simply the standard for which all great live performances would be based upon. THE best live show ever captured on tape.

The best live album ever. FRIGGIN'' LOUD!!!!!!!
"Live at Leeds" is The Who at their best. Never a great studio band (except for the Who`s Next Sessions) the Who really starred on stage once they got over the guitar destroying and drum exploding phase. On this album the Who do a couple of covers of songs that staples of their performances, "Shakin` All Over" "Summertime Blues" and a particularly angst-driven version of "Young Man Blues". In my opinion the only weak points on the album are Townshends rock-opera segments,"I`m a Boy", "A Quick One, While He`s Away", and to some extent "Amazing Journey/Sparks". Over all a really, really great album.
