This is a perfect acoustic based pop album. Even though it`s been out for 9 years and out of print for quite a few, the music sounds incredibly fresh. The artists are: Willie Aron (Lead Guitar); Robert Blackmon (Percussion); Jeff Davis (Gutiar); Steve Wagner (Bass) with all four on Vocals.The CD includes the "New Campfire Songs" EP (songs 12-14, 15-17) recorded in 1985 & 86.If it were possible I would have worn out this CD from listened to it so many times. Each song is expertly crafted with no needless filler, just great melodies and smart lyrics. My favorite sing-along tune is "Who Got the Pearls?".Where are these guys now? If you run into this disc in the used CD bin, pick it up immediately. Then write to IRS and ask for more of The Balancing Act.
