Comments for The Balancing Act, curtains

The second CD from the acoustic based group. This time the drums are mixed way too loud on most tracks. The writing is still great, but it`s the quieter songs that stand out; "Dangerous Roof", "Understanding Furniture", and "Sleep On The Trusty Floor" are the highlights. "Can You Get To That" is a good take on P-Funk power funk. "Fishing In Your Eye" has a wonderful jazzy feeling.Same four members are here as on "Three Squares and a Roof". This is a letdown from that terrific album, but still much better than most rock releases in 1988.This one is also out ot print, so snatch it up if you can find it.
