The Faces, aka "Poor Mans Rolling Stones" During their short but successful run in the very late 60's and early 70's (before Mick Jagger "pinched" Ronnie Wood to join the Stones on tour as Mick Taylor's replacement), The Faces were THE Party Band. The Faces are said to have written the book on "Drunken Debauchery & Riotous Tours Entourages." A great band with a few excellent gems here and there... (Original Faces: Steve Marriot, Ronnie Lane, Ian McLagen, and Kenny Jones. First album was "Ogdens Nut Gone Flake" with the album cover formed in the shape of a tobacco can. First hit single was parantheically titled "It's all so beautiful", about some sort of high.)

I learned las tnigth that Ronnie Lane succumbed to MS recently. Wanted to share my sense of loss with other [small] faces fans. Any info about how to get his 1974 solo album much appreciated. Thanks.
