Comments for Supergroove, Traction

Supergroove start off this album with a shuffle, a howl and the mother-of-all guitar riffs.....and it just doesn''t let up. Scorpio Girls attacks your ears and drags your vocal cords into action, Your White Shirt gets your feet tapping with its grooved-out rythym section, Gotta Know makes you laugh at the lyrics, Sitting Inside My Head tugs your heartstrings but still manages to have a "supergroove", and Can''t Get Enough is a zoo, totally summing up how you feel about this awesome band. Once you become a ''groover'' you''ll understand what I mean. The lyrics move from light and frivolous through to deep and insightful but never take themselves too seriously. Perhaps the stigma of the youthfulness of the band during their time together. Maybe a few years later they could have remained together, but then again, maybe they would have taken it too seriously by then. In any case, a great album from a very talented group of young musicians who burned too bright for too short a time. Supergroove we miss you.

Great kiwi band....they are a mix of jazz,rock,rap and a bit of the all genres of music..Are huge in New Zealand with several number one hits ..including Cant Get Enough
