Definitely agree! This is, by far, one of Sammy's best. The only bad thing about this album is that it's only available on CD as an import. And you will pay through the nose for it (But it's worth every dime).

Wow! This album blew me away. Top of the rock could be Van Halens Top of the world? Animation...Valley of the kings...and Giza make for one great song! The guitar and vocals are awesome. I love the remake of Whiter shade of pale; it was done with style. I would rate the Album a 9.

You're all talking about Sammy (he's great on this album) but I think Neal Schon is the one who makes this album so special. There's no other guitarist like him. The combination Schon/ Hagar is nearly as good as the combo Perry/Schon (i.e. Journey). Too bad these guys only made one album.

Sammy's new album (away from Van Halen) will feature Neil Schon again. Look for it...

I had the LP of this album in college and LOVED it. Now, I can't seem to locate the import CD. Anyone know of an online music store where I can order it?

This album rocks! I would love for these guys to get back together and make another album (especially if it has the intensity of the first). My album rating - 9 out of 10.

Rock and roll at its finest....four of these rock masters come together to keep TRUE rock n' roll alive during the heavily pop/over-production-oriented 1980s. Superb...go out and get it!

I first heard this album on casette back in 1984. I was always a fan of Sammy and Journey. I just reaquired the "album" on cd, and it cranks just as awesome as it did back in 1984. Van Halen may rock, but Sammy kicks ass!!

I saw the HSAS show on opening night at the Warfield Theatre in San Francisco. It was an unbelieveable display of guitar playing. Schon and Hagar on the Gibson Explorers dueling on Heavy Metal. That tune didn't make the album but it should have.

If any of you thinks this album is good, YOU must find the video LIVE in concert which MTV aired. Powerful songs like ''Eyes of love'' (maybe James brown tune) and 16 others songs LIVE. IF ANYONE FINDS THE VIDEO PLEASE LET ME KNOW. HSAS in concert 1985ish.

This is easily one of the best hard rock albums EVER! Hagar's voice and Schon's guitar are flawlessly melodic. The 'Planet Us' release can not come fast enough.
