i've also been searching for this album for years on cd it really needs to be released for us fans that are still out there..i think this is their best work

The best album of Bob Geldof's career as is often the case the artist wrote his best material when he was young and relatively unknown. I am looking to recapture this album in any reasonable quality format. There is a loyal following who would make it commercially viable for a digital rerelease of this material.

I purchased a used CD copy of "fine art" a couple of years ago. I am certain that I have seen it since and will see it again. I know that I saw new CD copies at "Sam the Record Man" here in Toronto for a mere $10 (Canadian dollars) some years ago. I havn''t checked them out on-line but it is worth a try. I also really enjoy the "mondo bongo" and "tonic for the troops" albums but am looking for them on CD. My vinyl is getting very tired...

THEIR GREATEST TRIUMPH.I SAW GELDOF PERFORMING IN JULY 2000,MONDAYS IS STILL A LIVE BLOCKBUSTER.LUCKY ENOUGH TO HAVE THIS ALBUM ON C.D,AND I AM OLD ENOUGH TO HAVE IT ON ITS ORIGINAL BRITISH RELEASE.

Great album - their best. I know a lot of people are looking for this CD. You can occasionally find one on eBay, and that's where I just purchased one, paid US$52. Besides the music (don't like Mondays is my personal fave) I really like the cover art on the LP and CD. Anyone know who the artist is?

You can get a few of the songs from the 'best of..' CD, and you CAN find the others on mp3. You then can burn your own CD (with the tracks in the correct order). BRING BACK THE RATS !!!!!!!!!!

Have have the Tape since 1980, a little worn now. Just found the record at the Salvation Army Thrift store. Best of all, it's in great shape. I think this is a gret album.

AS A BRIT I BELIVE THIS RECORD WAS ONLY AVAILABLE ON CD IN THE USA. AS I AM NOW LIVING STATESIDE I SPENT MANY YEARS COMBING SECOND HAD STORES FOR THE CD VERSION. EVENTUALLY I COPIED MY VYNAL VERSION TO CD SO THAT I COULD LISTEN TO IT BUT MY UNDERLYING QUESTION IS WHAT IS SO SPECIAL ABOUT THIS CD THAT IT BRINGS $50+ ON EBAY. FOR YEARS I FIGURED THAT I WOULD BE THE ONLY PERSON LOOKING FOR A CD COPY OF THIS ALBUM, THAT DOES NOT SEEM TO BE THE CASE. ANYONE KNOW? PLEASE EMAIL ME
