Do not get this album thinking you will hear more of Shirley's enticing vocals in Garbage. The only song that even seems to resemble a Garbage song is "Suffocate Me", but most of the songs here reflect Shirley's work with Goodbye Mr. Mackenzie. The other good songs on here are "King of the World" and "Heartbreak to Hate". Some people think that Shirley will be recording another album with Angelfish, but she had indefinitely said that the next Garbage album will be the first priority and dismissed Angelfish as "music full of something and nothing."

It''s not surprising that Angelfish sound somewhat like Goodbye Mr Mackenzie, considering that all four members were in that band & the songs are written by GMM''s songwriters Martin Metcalfe & Derek Kelly. It''s a great album, but any garbage completists should check out the Goodbye Mr Mackenzie website to get the full GMM/Angelfish/Garbage story. Find it through Yahoo!Mail me if you''ve got any Mackenzie questions. Nick
This is where it began for Garbage`s Shirley Manson. Butch Vig saw their one-time-aired video for "Suffocate Me" and decidedto give Shirley a call.... The Angelfish album is an ok first(and last) attempt that showcases Shirley`s vocals pretty well.
