Comments for Trans Am, Trans Am

This is a very impressive album. Phil Manley, Nathan Means, and Sebastian Thompson come together to put electricity into an emotion. The album may change its moods from time to time but it never loses its edge. Trans Am's sound can be driving, as witnessed on the first track, or it can slow up to a peaceful tune that could put you to sleep. Their sound is further enhanced through the recording and mixing of the musical genius John McEntire (also seen working behind Tortoise, Stereolab, Sea and Cake, Gastr Del Sol, Bastro, Red Krayola, and King Kong). For those of you who want something truly different, this is a must get. You'll never hear another sound like that of Trans Am.
