Comments for Trans Am, Surrender to the Night

Trans Am moves on to new levels in this album. They maintain their old intensity, but they use a lot more drum programming and more rhythm oriented songs. Phil Manley moves freely between guitar, keyboards, DJ mixing. Nathan Means plays both the bass and keyboards. Sebastian Thompson records all drum tracks (programmed, electric, and accoustic). Once again, John McEntire can be works behind the scenes to add to Trans Am`s sound. Surrender to the Night is an enchanting album that is great for those warm summer nights when you just feeling like surrenderring and letting yourself go. There`s no lyrics to distract you, just great music to soothe you. (A small warning: you can`t be too afraid of distortion when listening to Trans Am)
