Comments for Bowie, David, Let's DanceE-MAIL: jonasa His last good album.E-MAIL: boudiaf@ceng.cea.fr E-MAIL: nhl@buggy.com Chic a la BowieE-MAIL: dylan@lynx.org I'll never forgive Rolling Stone Magazine for giving this album such a crappy rating. Whoever wrote the review must've had his head up his ass, because only an idiot could deny the quality craftmanship of songs like Modern Love, China Girl and Cat People. An upbeat album and easily his best of the 80's, which doesn't say a whole lot, but certainly worth it's weight in gold.E-MAIL: arsespike@usa.net Mmm. Can''t agree with all that. This album was considerably more lacking in structural density than even Tonight, far less so than Heroes. Nor does it have any individual tracks that rise above the pop morass of the remainder - unlike on Scary Monsters, with Ahses to Ashes say. It''s just catchy pop fluff. Under Pressure is good, but you can get that on Hot Space... (Ian)Comments supplied by users do not necessarily reflect the opinions of Roadkill Consulting, Inc. |
