This is basically a compilation. It contains the bands first 2 non album singles, which was when they were more Punk than Pop, as well as "Guilty" in it''s 7" version along with a batch of songs from their first UK LP. A great LP!
Three of the members of Classix Nouveaux were ina punk band called X-Ray Specs. A couple years laterthey recuited a Gothic sounding vocalist named Sal Solo, change the name of the band to Classix Nouveaux, andrelease an album in 1980 entitled, Night People (UK). Thealbum was re-released in the US in 1981 under the title,Classix Nouveaux. The album is quite good with someworthy tracks such as "Guilty", "Every Home", and themagnificent and creepy "Robots Dance" which was notavailable on the UK release. ---Very Good. Recommended.
