Comments for Arcana, Arc of the Testimony

The second, and possibly the last installment of Arcana, a jazz/free music collective formed by the core members of Bill Laswell (bass) and the late Tony Williams on drums. While the last albumis more afree-music excursion with Derek Bailey, this time Arcana has alarger lineup with Phaorah Sanders, Graham Haynes, Byard Lancaster, NickySkopelitis and Buckethead. More accessible fusion-y sound, but just as powerfulas their last effort. Some tracks are just powerful and hit the listeners likea hammer, while others explores the adrk, murky territory of improvisation.
