A noise trio led by guitarist Caspar Brotzmann, the son of the legendary European Avant garde improvisor/saxophonist Peter Brotzmann (check out his playing in the band Last Exit). Massaker, as thisproject which involved by the junior Brotzmann, is a blend of structured composition with noise improvisation. Most tunes are lengthy, but the impactof each one of them was like being hit by a Panzer tank. The disc startswith a journey of tranquility and violence of Hymne and the rollercoasterrolls on with more hardcore noises. The torment ends with a dark andmoody drone of Koksofen.
