Comments for Rheingold, Rheingold

This is the first Rheingold album originally releasedback in 1980. I`ve heard a lot of people say that itsounds a lot like Kraftwerk, but I think that statementneeds some qualifying. I`d say that the vocals sounda lot like Ralf Hütter of Kraftwerk and the songs soundlike something Kraftwerk may have written back duringtheir Autobaun record, but there`s far less electronics andfar more guitar in Rheingold to make these two bands comparable. Therewere some hit songs on this album including"Dreiklangdimensionen" and "Fluß". My favorite, however, is"International". All songs feature the classic sound of theRoland CR78 rhythm machine.---Good. By the way this album was re-issued on cd:CD catalog number : 1C 538-7 94807 2
dreiklangdimensionen,The best german rock song of the 20th century.
