Comments for Karn, Mick, Titles

Mick Karn played bass and saxophone in the 80`s band Japan. His unique fretless playing style has won him the distinctionof being one of the most unique bass players ever. Titles, hisfirst solo effort, diplays the artistic and spiritual sides of hissongwriting talents. The first half of the album (tracks 1-5) areall instrumental experiments with lots of tribal and Oriental influences. The second half of the album is vocal with avante guarde instrumentarangements, but is still very catchy. One thing`s for sure, NO onesounds like Mick Karn. He did release a single of "Sensitive" fromthis album with a b-side entitled "The Sound Of Wave" which, incidentally,is included as a bonus track on this cd. Mick later went on to form theband Dalis Car with ex-Bauhaus frontman Peter Murphy.---Very Good.Highly Recommended.
