Comments for Box, The, The Pleasure And The Pain

This album, produced in Britain by Martin Rushent, represents the best recording, technically speaking, that they have ever released. Unfortunately, the lyrics are missing much of the charge of their earlier albums. With the exception of "Temptation" with its strong Cajun/French Carribbean flavour, and the straightforward pop/rock song "Carry On", their is not much lyrically to recommend the album. Overall, a decent album, but far from their best.

This c/d will really grow on you, the song "inside my heart" reamains one of my favorites till this day. Highly recommended to those who are looking for a band with a personality all there own, or just "quality music".

The Box`s fourth album. Contains "Temptation", one oftheir best songs, and is again more mature lyrically andmusically than earlier efforts.
