Comments for Box, The, The Box

Available as part of a double cd with their second album, "All the Time, All the Time, All the Time...", their self- titled debut shows the activist roots of the group, as their music deals with various issues, including violence and the media. Agreat bargain as part of the double CD (one disk), of particular note are the tracks "The Great Summer Fair" and "Checkmate/Quand le roi".

The frustrating thing about this album is the omission of the track "For The First And Very Last" from the "All the Time, All the Time, All the Time" album. This song sets the scene for "L''Affaire DuMoutier," the song which followed it on the original recording.

This CD contains their debut album, The Box, and their second album, All the Time, All the Time, All the Time...Has some progressive influences, but is basically pop/rock. This is my favorite of The Box`s albums.
