Comments for Norum, John, Face The Truth

E-MAIL: kboxx@mail.snider.net
I have a totally different version of the Face the Truth album, although I'm not certain of its origin - it's a copy from an Italian friend - and it does include a song sung by both John Norum and Joey Tempest, called "We'll Be Strong" or perhaps "Together We'll Be Strong". I wouldn't call it one of the better tracks on the album, but it's interesting to note the lyric content of the song and to see the two performing together again.

I originally wrote this entry under a different e-mail address. Yes, there are from what I have found, three different track lists for this CD. And yes, Joey Tempest does sing on the album. The American release, or the easiest release to find in America does not contain that track, but another version does. You can tell that Joey had a hand in writing the song, his style is definately there. I think it is a good song, but then again I am a big Europe fan, and it sounds like a Europe song. Joey sings hard and loud, not like he does solo. You wonder if the lyrics have anything to do with them going seperate ways in '86. Maybe not, but it makes you think.

Joey Tempest come back with Europe please !!!!!!!!!!!
A much improved effort from the first release in `87. Of not"Counting On Your Love" was co-written with other artistsone of which was Joey Tempest. Some retailers advertise thatJoey Tempest sings one track. However, unless it is a differenttrack on an import he does not sing on this CD. His name is in the credits for co-writing the one track, that`s it. Glenn Hughesdoes almost all the vocals, the rest are done by John
