Comments for THE MONKS, BAD HABITS

I have been searching this album for some time now. The Monks have a pop/punk rock style with some very clever lyrics. My favorite song from this album would be ''Love in Stereo''. It is one of those great albums I had in my school days that got lost. E-mail me if you have a copy of this album you could part with.

ultra-cool british punk sound, but none of the usual rage that gets so old so quickly. a very hard disc to find, my copy is a dub of a dub i got from a guy years ago. if you can find it, get it. you won't be dissappointed. -underpussy

This is a rare CD, but I found a copy of it at A&B Sound in Calgary in June 2001. It may have been re-released. Great album. MJW

This album SO deserves to be heard!!! One of my favourites from when I was a shin-kicking, pre-punk, kid. Probably the album that is responsible for my punk leanings. But try and find info on the album or the band on-line. I dare ya! You'll get a bajillion hits for the 60's band of the same name - practically nothing for this album. These guys ought to be as seminal as the Shaggs - but.... Never managed to find their other album. Send any links you find!

yeah okay... im not too old but my dad had this and i listen to it all the time... unfortunatly some of the words you can understand... i know thats the point.. and i love this album to death but does anyone have lyrics?

I too love the Monks, (Bad Habits) always have, the whole album is awesome, the most popular song around here was Drugs In My Pocket...I like it, but it's the song I like least!! I know most of the lyrics, but would like a copy of official lyrics, do any of you know where I can get them? Thanks Jadesun
