Though it was released in 1983, this material was actually recorded in the period between "Can Of Bees" and "UnderwaterMoonlight". The material here is in a more traditional rockstyle that the other albums, though the lyrics are stillquite volitile when it comes to women. Is this a joke or forreal? It`s hard to tell. Maybe this is part of the appeal ofthe music? Definitely songs like "Next To You" and "Have AHeart Betty" would be considered Soft Boys classics. As withother albums, the guitar playing is stellar!
