I think this is their best album. All of them are winners except "Hole in Your Soul"

I think this album is one of ABBAs best, the best track is "One Man, One Woman", Fridas voice in it, especially the verses, Eagle is really great too, especially the chorus and the guitar solo., the rest of the album is excellent too.

A very well made album and a #1 in 1978. "Take A Chance On Me" was the biggest hit, but one of the best songs sung by Abba and written by Benny and Björn is on this album: "Eagle". This is a masterpiece of rock-pop; well written and very inspired with elements of American Indian music and a haunting arangement. The album is a classic and a must-have.
Classic Abba album with a couple of their biggest hits plussome more comtemplative stuff.

I think ABBA The Album is one of the group's superior albums. Even Benny Andersson had mentioned that he adheres a sense of pride and satisfaction for their work from this album onwards. The greatest songs on it are Thank You For The Music and The Name Of The Game. The latter being one of thier most mature themes nestled in mesmerizing instrumentation. No wonder this album was the first not to top the Australian charts as their very young fans couldn't quite relate to the maturity and subtlety of the songs on this one. The Album artwork was also fantastic.
