That song is not a Garcia tribute. It has a sardonic tone to it, and is genrally making fun of him.

And Govinda climbed to the summit of Mount Kailash, and prayed for 1 hour and 1 minute to whoever cared to listen to a mere mortal. Finally, Lord Krishna answered him. "What doest thou want, man?" he asked. "I wish to bring a plague upon the miserable earth that hath ill-treated me so; the filthy city men who refuse to buy my natural milk and original curds and buy plastic-wrapped items instead", Govinda cried. "Very well", said Krishna. "I shall throw down my trident and wipe out the Earth." "No", said Govinda. "Then my girlfriend will also die. Find a way, O Great Lord, to only kill the vile men of the city." Krishna thought for 1 hour and 1 minute. Then he smiled and said : "It is done, my son. At this moment, the Earth is reeling under the vilest sound to ever be called music. Kula Shaker is its name.....and they shall destroy the men of the city."
Quite an interesting mix of sounds and music. This one needs to be heard. Tattva, the first single from the album, is a primeexample of this whole collection. Wonderful Jerry Garcia tributesong, showing the diversity of this group.Crispian Mills - singing, electric and accoustic guitars, tambouraAlonza Bevan - bass, piano, tabla, backing vocalsJay Darlington - organ, mellotron, pianoPaul Winterhart - drumsCover art by Graphic Novel artist Dave Gibbons (Martha Washington, The Watchmen)
