Ms. Barnett has a gorgeous voice with just a touch of strangeness in it. The songs were written by several people, including Jim Lauderdale, Willie Nelson, and Kostas. "Wayfaring Stranger" is the traditional song, arranged by Ms. Barnett and the band.Is this music Country and Western? Well, yes, but with a little something more. Even if you don`t usually like C & W, you might find the "something more" attractive. Watch for her music videos on The Nashville Network--she`s the one who looks like Shirley Temple. ;-)
