This is the album made me a big time ABBA fan. There is not a bad song on it. When I Kissed The Teacher, Dancing Queen, My Love My Life, Knowing Me Knowing You, Thatīs Me and Arrival are perfect examples of perfect pop.

Did you ever wonder about the name and structure of this record which to me is one of the best from Abba. All the songs (except from "Dancing Queen", which they had to include on the LP because of its mega hit status) deal with complication of human nature, e.g. stranded relationships, unrealistic dreams, depressed searchers and misfits of one or the other kind ... except the final tune, "Arrival". The final tune thus marks the discovery of (arrival at) maturity / maximum happiness possible. However, with "Arrival" being wordless, the means to this end are not revealed, but since the album bears the same name, the answer may be in the journey through all the complications of the other songs. And, at last, the real answer is solely within yourself --- Maybe the songs even form a chronological development of a female character: youth (When I kissed, Dancing Queen), firm relationship (My Love, My life), stranded relationship (Dum dum, Knowing me), sublimation (Money), illusion of maturity (That''s me), mature abuse of others (Why did it have), final personal imprisonment in her own world (Tiger) before revelation (Arrival). Just like Pink Floyd''s The Wall, in fact. Who knows, anything is possible with these disguised Swedish existentialists...
Great singable, danceable songs, plus their biggest hit.
