Comments for The Verve Pipe, Villains

I have been hearing on radio stations a different version of Freshman. The music is a little heavier. Is this a special remix or from a soundtrack? Also, why is the Freshman being played alot now the cd came out last year?

The cd came out in the winter of 1996. Phonograph was the first big hit. Then we heard nothing from them for a year until the label pushed a remix of "The Freshman". What you hear on the radio is totally different from the same song off Villians. It''s grunge rock vs. 60s style rock (the Freshman song). Rest of cd has a 70s retro sound to it.

There is not a bad song on this album. It is a must for all those who like great music.
