Comments for Brand Nubian, Everything Is Everything

E-MAIL: jean.hughes-camm@ctg.com
This album is a complete departure from the group's previous two albums, All for One, and In God We Trust. Of the three, it is definately the worst. The beats provided mostly by Lord Jamar, are on the whole g-funk garbage.hey can do much better than this

Why do I have to read the second comments section in the discography to find out there are two previous albums, before this current listing?

The second best of all three Brand Nubian releases. Lord Jammar's production was a welcome change from the production on "In God We Trust". Improved Lyrics from both rappers and a solid album, outside of about one or two that can be tolerated, but could have been left out.

in God we Trust is definitely better.

I bought this album yesterday (25.5.98). Before I saw it in the store I never heard something of Brand Nubian. Here in Switzerland not many people know them, but they are good, very good. This album''s from ''94, does anybody know if they''re making a new CD? I only want to say that they make good music.
Well-written, well-produced, and well-planned, this albumpromises almost no radio-friendly hits, as is typical ofwhat seems like any rap album in which the players do notend up looking like dillrods. It is unfortunate that BrandNubian will not make more money than they will for this type of work, but by no means uncommon.
