Comments for Brightman, Sarah, Sings the Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber

E-MAIL: wfhanna@colby.edu
Great album...although some of the tracks can be found else- where (e.g., ALW's Premiere Collection and Premiere Collection Encore). Brightman's re-recorded version of "Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again" is phenomenal! For the most part, these are all the definitive versions of ALW's songs. Only "Love Changes Anything" sounds a bit strained.

I think that she is an excellent singer. I wish i had the opportunity to study under her. I am from South Africa and I will add my comment in my home language: Afrikaans: Baie geluk met 'n goeie album. Sterkte vir die res van jou loopbaan. Thanx J.Pretorius

In my eyes (ears), Sarah Brightman can do no wrong. I always felt that she was at her best when singing songs by Andrew Lloyd Webber. This goes without saying for this CD.

Sarah Brightman can do now song incorrect. She sings like an angel with her beautiful soprano voice. The songs on this CD are gold!

Sorry to rain on EVERYBODY''S parade here... I am a bigger Sarah Brightman fan than anybody you''ll ever meet. HOWEVER... I feel I was AGAIN ripped off. This album costs anywhree from $30 to $45 depending on which country you buy it in... This cd is nothing but recycled tracks. For some reason, ALW sees fit to include THE SAME "Pie Jesu" on Surrender, Premiere Collection, Sarah sings ALW... CAN WE SAY OVERPLAYED?! HELLO! I *USED* to like the song! And this is by FAR the WORST recording you''ll EVER find of "Don''t Cry For Me Argentina" which is also horrible. I LOVE this cd because of her "Another Suitcase in Another Hall", her "I Don''t Know How to Love Him", and her "Anything But Lonely"... aside from that, there''s nothing on this cd you can''t find on any other recording, and just about every song sucks... This is the first and last time you will ever hear me trash Sarah... unless you look at the Heaven Is Here or How Can Heaven Love Me EPs...

Recycled tracks, huh? I agree.
This album is an import from Japan...
Also manufactured in Australia.
