At first glance, the seven tracks on this release seem to add up to a 28-minute EP. However, the extended, annoying phone conversations that come between each song, push the timing to 35 minutes.What you basically have is a program that ties together like a Clarissa TV show. The Rachel Sweet songs aren`t that good; Melissa Joan Hart really can`t sing all that well, and for a full-price disc, it`s rather short in length.It`s a cheesy package altogether; however, it`s the only thing that even resembles an official soundtrack to Clarissa Explains It All.
