Comments for Brightman, Sarah, How Can Heaven Love Me (Seriously out of print)

honour2001@netzero.net
I downloaded the Radio Version and the Sir Sholt remix of this hit song on Napster, as well as the Extended Mix and the ORIGINAL version, and here is what I have to say: The Radio Version has a nice opening and is akin to the Extended Mix, which comes later in the single. The Video Version, which is track 5 on the current print of the “Fly” album that has “Time To Say Goodbye” as track 1, is too walk-down and no funk. Boring. The Album Version, track 4 on the ORIGINAL print of “Fly” (released 4/5/1996) as well as on the La Luna Tour 2-CD set of the same title, is absolutely the best version there is. I heard it for the first time when I got the Fly 2-CD set and was absolutely amazed: it posessed an incredible opening and a sexy dance beat that the Video Version lacked. PeCh and Sir Sholt also made a pretty cool collaboration on their remix of the song. It starts out with Frank Peterson (Sarah’s producer and boyfriend) saying all the German stuff amidst a string arrangement that sounds like something out of a movie score for a horror film, then shifts gears into something like a techno-Latin arrangement Sarah fans would NEVER expect to find, complete with actual singing of Chris Thompson’s line by Sarah (she sounds so cute!). Of course you do hear CT’s vocals during that cut. The Extended Mix is just more of the Radio Version. But Pech’s Favourite Mix is as hot as hell, turning up the disco heat (it’s actually disco-like!). I heard the Radio Edit version of that mix on the Fly 2-CD and was amazed. Reminds me of all those disco tunes from the 70’s. Did my review help you?
