Comments for Tarney-Spencer Band, Three's A Crowd

E-MAIL: sbfp@zip.com.au
Given that both these artists are Australians, the low level of acceptance in the US is notsurprising. Alan Tarney went on to be the writer-producer for many Cliff Richard Albums, and spent some time as Bass Player with the legendary UK group, the Shadows, featuring on a live album of theirs,"Live at the Paris Olympia". I would say that his proficient and creative playing on that album is something not to be missed. Overall, the fresh clean sound of the Tarney Spencer band still holds good today as A class listening, both for the accomplshed musician and the average listener. Bill Bowley

This is a ab-fab album which deserves a CD reissue as per Run for your life. Ditto my comments on Run for your life.
Alan Tarney and Trevor Spencer did not have a lasting effecton the US. Their most famous song came on the followup to thisalbum.
I LOVE Three's A Crowd, and I CAN'T believe it's not available on CD! Where are Tarney & Spencer Now???? Thank God I have a decent cassette recording. 40 Somethin Fan!

This is one of the best albums that no one has heard of. With copies of this and Run For Your Life going for 100's of dollars it is way overdue to be released on CD. I've not found Tarney Spencer, the album yet.
