Comments for Mathieu, Mireille, Hymne à l'amour (Himno al amor)

French release of the very successful Spanish album, "Embrujo". (Released in Spain, Latin America, the United States and Germany under the title "Embrujo"). Mireille`s first album totally in Spanish, with the exception of a duet album recorded in Mexico in 1984 with Placido Domingo. The songs are very classic - Beethoven and Mozart. Her Spanish rendition of "Himno al amor", the famous French classic "Hymne à l`amour", was number one in teh charts in Spain, and enabled the album to achieve gold status. The song "Embrujo" also hit the charts in Spain.
