Words can''t describe how beautifully Mireille has sung each german song. Mireille is the only one who can produce work of such talent and interpret it with passion. BRAVO Mireille!

THis is the German version of "Mireille Mathieu chante PIAF", with 11 of the 13 songs from the French album sung in French. Although it was very difficult to do, Mireille insisted that the texts of the songs be respected and that the French lyrics be carefully translated into German so as not to lose any of the original meaning of the songs. Mireille is superb, especially in her hot rendition of "Schau mich bitte nicht so an". This was a comeback album in German after several years of dedicating herself to other countries. Mireille has done about 25 albums in German all told.
