Solid mainstream 1990s dance/pop with a few smooth ballads like "Quit Playing Games". Their harmonies are unique but not up to the standarts of Boyz II Men, but BACKSTREET BOYS is quite a good album and it's enjoyable all the way through. Nick Carter's lead vocals are the most interesting. Forget their teenybopper image, this is a fun listen.

The Backstreet Boys. Just like so many bands before them they are a bunch of no talented posser. They have no talent at all. You takes 5 or whatever amount is in the group, all pretty boys, have someone write your songs and music and your a big success. But though they may have alot of fans, there are more people that know the differance between real musicians and made up computerized bullshit. Just like the New Kids On The Block they'll get there 15 minutes of fame, in 3 - 4 years those teens won't be teens anymore and they'll hopefully know the differance between crap and real music. Backstreet Boys better save every check becasue they won't last!

Okay, everyone, let me cut the ropes here and tell you like it is: BSB aren’t the only thing there is in the world. Thinking they’re the best sends you into disillusionment. I’ve sampled a number of their songs, and none of them really won me over. You have to give credit, though, to the number of CDs they were capable of selling (especially with their “Millennium” and concurrent “Black & Blue” albums) and to the fact that they did something to keep the public happy, if only for a little while. However, their music is not enough for me. I don’t just want music that makes the girls scream; when I hear a song, I want it to have expression, consideration, determination, and of course meaning, or I won’t listen to it at all. At least these guys, like ’N Sync, et al, will be enjoyable while they last, because they’re no longer the enjoyable pieces of chocolate cake they are once they’ve come of age.

Boygroup, Teenygroup, Girlies will like them :-))

This album is amazing!!!!!!!!!
