This disc has Hot Albert King style licks all over it, and the more you listen to it,the more you like it. Not a bad song on it. When is there going to be a new one?

I got turned on to the Buddah Heads when I was in LA last year. My uncle turned me on to them. I am so glad he did. I got the cd and I have not got tired of it. I can not wait to hear some more of there music.

My name is Frog(Brian Harris).I now own Songland Records in Canberra,Australia.For 5 years I hosted a late night huge cult following radio show that specialised in.......being different and,I like to think,playing great music."Blues Had A Baby" won the album of the year award for 1994. It's THAT good.I went to the extent of interviewing Alan Mirikitani even though the album was not released in Australia.I found Alan to be appreciative and open.Is the band still together? Maybe someone should get in contact with Carr/Sharpe Mgmt.

I am with a band called The RedHot Blues and we played with The Buddah Heads last night (April 12, 1997) in Ventura CA. I first saw them years ago in LA as they worked their way up but Alan is at his peak right now and really impressed me, which is hard to do. Live, they cover a wide spectrum of music like my band, but for guitar loving fans this guy is great.

Can anyone tell me if the Buddah Heads are still together and how to purchase their albums? I used to work with Bobby Schneck''s wife and I had Blues Had A Baby. I would love to buy more of their albums. Please email me if you have any info on this group. thanks.

This band has been an L.A. Mainstay in clubs for years.They were formally known as "BB Chung King and the ScreamingBuddah Heads.
