Comments for Dollie De Luxe, Rock Vs Opera

A highly interesting and artistically challenging album.Benedicte Adrian`s voice rings with the clarity of a bell, and Ingrid Bjornov`s arangements are stunning. I don`t know whose idea this album was; but, it`s fabulous.

This album rocks. It's just amazing! The singer is like sent from heaven (she is both beautiful AND talented...), especially in the track "Queen of the night/Satisfaction". I heard that they still works as musicians. I even found their homepage! (www.adrianbjoernov.com) If you want a really, really cool CD - this is it!

All Dollie CDs, including "Rock VS Opera", should be possible to buy through the record company: http://www.whichwitch.no/contact/contact.htm

"Rock vs Opera" is a marvellous and original album, combining rock AND opera! (Hence the album's title...) Dollie de Luxe are two very talented norwegian musicians! (Although they don't call themselves Dollie de Luxe anymore) I didn't know they were known in Canada! Anyway, this CD is still available in Norway, so are several of their other albums from the 80's. I think it's Grappa Records in Norway that publish them nowadays. And they are also available at www.cdon.com
