Comments for Here and Now,

Here and Now`s storming live album. The tracks are well recorded and full of energy. Although the musicianship cannot be called virtuoso, there`s still much to admire here and for my money this is the best Here and Now album apart from Floating Anarchy which is a collaboration with Gong. Best track has to be Surgeon`s Knife. This album is really quite common to find at record fairs and market stalls. Becoming a scarcity, and well worth a release on CD, Here&Now live evoke a past era, before Maggie ruled the roost. This was a time when the Stonehenge festival still took place and free festivals appeared regularly in your neighborhood, and Here&Now were THE festival band, often appearing at free gigs with their anarchic energy with little publicity. They toured often and their lineup was flexible but the gig's were always enjoyable. Track down and own a little piece of history... from when the world was a more interesting place.
