Comments for Argent, Ring of Hands

Argent`s 2nd and best album, IMHO. Thank God for guitarist Russ Ballard, making sure that Rod Argent didn`t fall off the deep end with his classical organ meanderings, ensuring that Argent never fell into the overkill trap that plagued Yes, Genesis, Pink Floyd, etc. The albums are diverse and the solos take you on unpredictable journeys. And Ballard is a brilliant song writer. Best track: Pleasure. Why this remains deleted while All Together Now and the self-titled 1st album have been reissued, I don`t know.
