Comments for Super 5 Thor, Gazelle

Second album from the new project by The Miss Alans` ScottOliver and Manny Diez. Take away some of MA`s rhythm and add moredreamy atmosphere, and you`ve got Super 5 Thor. "Gazelle"is a relaxing if unchallenging mix of songs that Scott wantedto do with MA, but didn`t (or couldn`t). Good for what itis, but a step down from The Miss Alans` best.

It took me a few listens to before I warmed up to Gazelle the way I did to other Miss Alans and Super 5 Thor albums. However, with each listen I became more seduced. Gazelle is a pleasant blend of subtle emotions, catchy rythms, and ethereal landscaping. The found image on the insert is as ghostly present as the music. Hopefully, another release will make its way to light someday. The Gringo Kid
