Brilliant! KB's voice sounds younger and fresher (Moving) and the topics covered by the songs shows that she had more courage than sense, nevertheless, very well done. The music is truly 'beautiful', something to mellow out to. ><>

A bright and astonishing debut, heralded by England's #1 single of that year, Wuthering Heights. Bush, at the age of 19, shows off her impressive lyric- and songwriting skills with the simplest instrumentation found on any of her albums to date...and a voice so unlike anything you've ever heard before that you may think she's an acquired taste. Trust me...you'll acquire it.

Please listen to L'amour looks something like you. I think one of the nicest songs ever.

It doesn't get any better than this. When, after many years of disappointments, I had given up ever finding another musician who moved me, I discovered the music of Kate Bush and experienced a rebirth. "Oh, to be in love, and never get over it!"

13 perfectly crafted popsongs, each one so wonderful it is hard to belive your ears. Though she was so very, very young back in 1978, she had a songwriting talent which was endeed extrordinary.

the hit, "Wuthering Heights" is one of the best songs ever written in English, it captures the gloomy, dreamy melancoly of the novel from which it gets its name. More than 20 years later it still gives me chills when I hear it... and makes me wish that for just a moment I could be a soprano too!
