Deffinately one of the better 70's influences, yet tottaly under rated. I think it's time for a Buzzcocks revival, Start with their greatest hits and progress!

I couldn't agree more. A couple of years ago they did a short North American tour and were EXACTLY the same as they were back in the late 70's! Although I noticed that Steve Diggle is starting to resemble John Cusack, the actor.

The buzzcocks are without a doubt the best band of the punk era The clash, jam, lacked the song after song brilliance of the buzzcocks they were always honest, personal, and angry-exactly what the average teen punk was and still is.Their music since the band reformed has lacked the consistency of original records, but the live shows remain a loud sweaty treat.

The Buzzcocks songs trancend the label of "punk". These are just as great as any other material. The sound leans more toward new wave with a little synths, but the heavy agressive guitars are still there. The are expanding their sound on this record. The last 6 tracks are from their 3 singles before the brief 80''s period of retirement.
One of the better 70`s punk bands
