Comments for Eg, Turn Me On I'm A Rocket Man

Great album. More! More! What happened to this guy? Or Eg & Alice for that matter?

Ok,so Rockets and I.O.U. were the great tracks from 24 Years Of Hunger by Eg&Alice back in 1991,the others weren't bad,6or7 out of 10 perhaps, but this album, out in early 1996 came to my attention for its 5out of 5star rating given in the Birmingham Whats On guide, and i don't disagree with that one bit.The singles Stay Home and Made My Baby Cry were great tracks, but the whole album was quality.I'll admit it took a while for it to grow on me but it was worth the wait. The only down side is that we've apparently been denied a follow-up as Eg seems content to write for the likes of Joss Stone and Will Young. It'd be nice if the Egman reads this as i'd like to have been able to say thanks for this album as i can't find an address on the cd or a website for him,and to say happily that he reminds me of Alistair MacGowen!
