Van Der Graaf was formed a year after Van Der Graaf Generator splited-up.The new group was personally different form the old one but still based on PH lyrics and compositions.The album is in the same style as Hammill`s late 70s albums "Over" and "The future now" - Shorter songs, more simple lyrics. the electric violin gives the album a new and unique sound.
