This record was one of the most underrated records during the time. This black rock coaltition band is one of the few that was fronted by a woman. I first saw them on mtv or bet, in the video for venus with furs, i picked up a copy of the album the next day. DK Dysons voice range is incredible, especially on venus in furs, prisoner in babylon, and on world without end. Melvin Gibbs,the bass player, nows plays for the Henry Rollins band. They are blues/alternative/funk band with a dj. If you spot this gem in the used cd bin pick it up. My first copy was stolen from me but luckily I found it again recently in at a used cd place.
